Drop Shipping
Thank you for choosing luigiandsons.com for your drop shipping needs. For over 30 years Luigi & Sons has been providing drop shipping services to a multitude of catalog houses, television networks, and most recently internet based commerce. This experience has allowed us to offer enhanced peace of mind to our customers. Below are a list of most often asked questions and answers to facilitate you.
1. How do I become a drop shipper?
Please complete the "sign up" section which can be found at the top right of the website.
2. Can I use luigiandsons.com photos and descriptions?
Once you have completed the luigiandsons.com "sign up" form, your account will be reviewed. You will receive an email response accepting your account information which will then give you complete access to photos, pricing, and descriptions.
3. What are the drop ship fees?
All drop ship orders are subject to a $5 drop ship fee. This cost is seperate from the actual drop shipping price.
4. How do I find shipping cost ?
Once you have gained access to luigiandsons.com you will have the availability to see wholesale pricing along with the drop shipping price for each individual item. In order to drop ship that item you must check the drop ship module (a checkbox). This will automatically add both the drop ship price and fee to your order.
Many larger items are shipped by LTL carriers (trucking companies). These items are specially packed on a standard 40” by 48” pallet. These items are subject to a $140.00 minimum charge per pallet. If you select one of these items, all remaining items purchased on that same order will not be subject to further shipping charges. Shipping these items by LTL is not only safer but in many instances much less costly. All other items, which are not designated by a $140.00 shipping charge, are shipped Fedex Ground.
5. Will any shipping documents be sent with my shipments ?
Your name will only be displayed on the UPS shipping label or LTL bill of lading but our address will show as the point of shipping. We do not send invoices or packing slips with your shipment. If your customer were to contact us at any time before or after the sale we will always refer them to you.
Please note that we do not and will not deal with the end consumer.
6. At account set up it asks for the ship to address. What address should i enter since the ship to will always be different?
For initial registration you should enter ship to information the same as bill to. Each time you place an online order with us you can enter the correct ship to information.
7. Can minimum case quantities be broken ?
Minimum quantities can be broken for customers designated to be drop shippers. Once you have checked the drop ship module you will have the availability to change the quantity desired.
8. From which location ill my order be shipped?
Orders will be shipped on an in stock basis according to location. Either Chicago, IL 60707 or Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670.
